Other than the goalkeeper, our best player this season. Along with Branthwaite, we need to build a team around those three. We're halfway there when you add Ndiaye, a fit Grealish, and Garner. Two good full backs, another centre half, and a proper striker would really help us challenge the top six next season.

He was always a top class player. Absolutely ran the show for Switzerland v England and made Declan Rice look like a clogger.

I agree 100%, I was just amazed that he came to back to a newly promoted team and work his plums off instead of being the big I am! He has pulled his tripe out for them, a fabulous signing!

I expect that is why he did come back.
His little stint in Germany and he suddenly grew into a man, perfect opportunity to come back and show the man he is, rather than the label he carried from Arsenal..

Really poor with the ball 2nd half. Really needs to be taking care of the ball when we do get it. Keep it simple, move, receive and so on. When he got the ball 1st half he was getting into good pockets of space. 2nd half he done nothing but give the ball away and I felt it was another game where on another day he could have been subbed and given someone else a run for 10 minutes.
