2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

He's moved Alcaraz out to the right to accommodate him as a 10 since he signed. Then Ndiaye (to put Grealish left who can also play as a 10).

If Myko was fit, Garner would definitely be starting over Tim rather than moving him.

We've more 10s than 8s so just makes sense youd put him as a CM if that was the intention from the off.
Once we sign an actual specialist right winger you can see what the plan is. Until then he's just trying to fit players in as best he can.

Seemed more effectual 2nd half today as well. Nothing stand out 1st, but I'm starting to struggle to see how we are trying to set him up or get the game out of him we want. Is the issue Gana and trying to involve him at the cost of another? (I am and always have been a Gana Gueye supporter, no secret) Because if we want that other 6, we've got KDH, Gana, and a new 6 meaning we've got a problem with the 10. If we pack MF we cost the support attacker?
Way way too early to judge anyone. It's a disfunctional formation at the moment because of the players we're missing and we struggled to get the ball from the back to our forward players. They will all get better when they get more used to playing together and we have a more balanced team. He's clearly an absolutely different level on the ball to Doucoure in the 10.

Great performance, the work rate is second to none.

Still wondering about his positioning. Feels like he was given the license to roam centrally that we expected Grealish to have. If we can find a spot for him that doesn’t compromise our other starters he will excel.

….before @Zatara vaults me again, KDH is a player I’ve never taken to but I trust Moyes and his team, they are looking for players who compliment each other.

The best part of his performance today was the ball into the box for O’Brien to head across goal.

Always rated him, he was fantastic for Leicester at times. Just came through a bit later than some.

He’s not the flashiest midfielder but great technique and good confidence in tight spaces. He’s what I thought Garner would be when we signed him initially.
