My concerns still stand out a bit. He’s very in and out of the game against an Arensal side made up of a lot of players in the same age group, bar the odd few of course.
I’d love to see him just take it by nuts and dictate.
I still reckon we’ll see a couple of magic moments in this game from him though.
..I think that’s what you get with him. I often think busy players can flatter to deceive. They run around lots and we think they are having good games, but others are less busy but have the quality to truly influence the outcome of games.
I’m convinced he’s the best RM option in Everton’s current staff because he’ll score and create and he’s also got a great partnership with Kenny. I know he’s got a terrific shot on him but he has the ability to play the most subtle passes behind the back four.
I don’t know if he has a future with us as I expect players will be brought in but he’s a talent albeit a frustrating one.
