Kick Off 19:30

As others have correctly pointed out , it was always a 7.30 kick off for night games back in the day.
I actually prefer it. Gives you time for an extra pint afterwards , before going home to a nagging about everything that you haven't done at home , and how she wishes that she had time to watch football.

up until the 1990’s, 7.30pm was the usual kick-off time for Everton’s home midweek games
This is only our 3rd 7.30ko in 23 years, other 2 one was that Reading cup game that Beckford turned up late for [2011] ,the other was a 4-1 home win v Fulham on good friday [2007]

Don't know whether its to encourage more people to watch the Chelsea v Arsenal game in full I'm not sure but at the end of the day with IPTV and online streams etc people will just want to watch their own team if they can access it they will.

yeh most people who aren't at the game can watch us first then watch 2nd half of Chelsea match

I think it's better at 7:30, be getting out the ground about 9:15 which gives time for either another pint or get home before 10 so I can have my tea

So that I can get to bed 30 minutes earlier than when it kicks off at 20:00?

they obviously didn't take into account the broadcasters showing 2 games at different times!
