I think he’s done an excellent job in the most difficult of circumstances. He’s also signed players who the Everton fans will have a real affection for. You could start a poll on which of Ndiaye, Beto, Alcaraz will go on to be the fans favourite and get a split poll I think.

I'm glad we are doing well, but I won't change my opinion on his record over three years and leaving us short in areas and short for too many games at the start of Seasons.

Ive slaughtered thelwell for buying a player with Betos technique. I will start getting the ingredients for humble pie as although its only a few games his touch and game has improved very quickly with a run of games. The way he adjusts and opens up his body now.
Still awkward and at times goofy but if this version stops as it is right now i'll still take it. He's our main forward now.
Love how keen he is btw more than anything. A genuine trier.

Two wingers, a defensive CM, a creative CM, a CB, a pair of full backs and a striker please Kev. £190m on that lot, probably partially offset by £80m for Branthwaite, sadly, but at least O'Brien is looking good. There's no way the club can have anything like £200m net spend just one window after being unable to spend a net penny for 5 years.

That’s on Thelwells watch the last three of them. If anyone says Thelwell hasn’t done a good job then they’re either completely clueless about football, or it’s agenda driven pure and simple.

He’s spot on here too. Thelwell absolutely deserves a new deal and given the tools to have a real crack at rebuilding the squad this summer.

Moyes could also be sending a message to TFG that we require more than what they did at Roma - which basically was a big initial spend - but with a squad that was already in European comps etc
