You see the personal abuse this fella receives based on one transfer window in the job (working under financial restrictions) and wonder why the footballing world banters our fanbase these days.
Is there even one single ounce of evidence this guy knows what he is doing/how to structure a football club??
His previous jobs are basically a couple of months at New York Nobodies FC (I doubt 99% of the people in NYC even know they have a soccerball team), shuffling the paperwork for the Portugese agent who ran the show at Wolves, and a stint at 48 times UCL winners Derby n Preston.
He's probably picking up £50-100k a week in his job and he's jizzed our limited budget on the likes of Maupey and McNeil. I know I know, some people will say "but but Tarks and Coady" and they are good signings but lets not pretend it requires a genuis to get them over the line. - Or are we saying shaping the youth team/academy into the same mould as almost every other club is a "masterstroke".
On the one hand I think there
might be an arguement to say it's too soon to judge him fully (so far, major fail) and on the other, I'd happily bet not one single person on this forum would say "we missed a trick there" if the mighty KT never joined us let alone anyone recognize him on the street.
