The first thing we need to assess with Cannon is whether the Manager thinks he could be a useful asset. Much better he works with this Manager and coaches and train daily with top flight professionals than go on loan. Not many Academy loanees go on to play 50 games for Everton, I really hope the Manager likes him enough to keep him here.
if he goes on loan again I have doubts he’ll ever be an Everton player. If he’s good enough, the time might be right for him now.
