All entirely fair, and I am looking forward to when this window is over because I haven't enjoyed it one bit

But I do think we are at the point where as a fanbase we need to start holding the board to account and actively pushing for changes to be made. We were fortunate last year to survive on under 40 points so should have been making the changes needed to ensure it doesn't happen again. Unfortunately I think things have become even more disorganised and we are only going to get away with it for so long. We have no right to forever stay in this league.

That bottom part I very much agree with. It is my belief the board should be pitch forked out as soon as possible mate.

His job is to know the global market, he should’ve brought a useful stop-gap striker in even if his key targets are unavailable until the end of the window (which I find difficult to believe). He secured two short-term defensive loans both known from his connection to Wolves, but not a single attacker.

If we obtain a superior solution by being patient that would constitute success.
If a suitable player is not immediately available it would surely be a foolish and costly mistake to sign a sub standard player merely for a warm body up front.
Let’s wait to assess the final outcome before we go apocalyptic on the fella.

He took a gamble on Dominic Calvert-Lewin remaining fit, he has to be culpable for allowing us to start a season in top flight football without an effective striker. There are no excuses, it’s a debacle.

I do understand the frustration but I feel you are ignoring our particular financial situation at the present.
If at the end of the window no one has arrived he can be fairly adjudged to have failed but I will keep my powder dry until then.

If no striker is again before Saturday then it’s an absolute disgrace. Should be a priority after the first 3 games of the season where you can see we are screaming out for a forward. Forget Rondon who’s like playing with 10 men. The absolute stupidity of not still getting a striker is killing us. Other teams going after people and getting targets in. We are just being so slow on recruitment it’s pathetic.

But do you know for a fact that a suitable forward was availed for the right price and payment structure at that point?
There are so many variables involved in player - trading ,most of which we are and will remain unaware,that I find it difficult to reach a final judgement until the culmination of the process.
As I said however, I do understand the frustration of others.

Oh there is lots on this board at the minute. So many people completely lapped up that waffle about judge us at the end of the window.

You refuse to accept any criticism of the board whatsoever. You are clearly content with the performance of the board and DOF in that case?

Honestly it comes up as the completely opposite with you and a lot of others. If our fans aren’t as critical of everything going off as yourself and others it means we’re happy clappers or content with the board. In reality we all see the same things, we all know what we need Ie goal scorers but constantly saying the same thing hundreds of times over and over doesn’t change it.

If some of our fans want to be positive, or happy with things then good on them. Just because you and others are so negative doesn’t mean you should try bring everyone else down.

Me personally I try to see the potential positives and focus on that so the club doesn’t make me miserable, I should know better after 30 plus years supporting the club but I’d rather be happy than spending my day complaining.

Literally could be on 1 point after the 4 games with a tough run of fixtures to follow. If we had a proper striker we would surely have more and that’s on Thelwell.

Im all for change at board level, posting every 8 minutes about the lack of new signings doesn’t have any thing to do with board change though…
