Yeah, I don't get this. I thought he may be retiring due to health issues. To see he's moved on somewhere else doesn't sit right with me......nonetheless, I hope it all goes well Kevin, one of our greatest players.....

He's been pushed out, which is a disgrace given his work with U18s.

Great player in a great side. But his influence on the club is still apparent nowadays. Holgate, Davies, Barkley, Kenny have all to thank sheedy for their development. A sad loss to the club. Nevertheless he will always be welcomed back here.

It's what I was told & I posted it in youth teams thread a week before it became public. The fact that there's been no proper statement also speaks volumes.

There seems to be alot going on behind the scenes with regard to the youth setup .who actually is heading up the academy at the moment

Or, and more likely, he got offered a once in a life time chance to develop players in another country and the club reluctantly gave him their blessing to take it

No I was told a week before it was announced that he'd been sacked and was very upset about it. If you look at the way the information was released and the club's lack of comment it's glaringly obvious something isn't right.
