Way below the standard required. Offers nothing.

Never ever beats a man on the outside ever. Cuts inside & runs like a headless chicken trying to get a shot away, rarely does.

Sigurdsson will take that left sided berth & we'll immediately see Baines benefit.

When Bolasie is fit, I can't see Mirallas getting on the bench.

Fairly certain i saw him beat his defender one on one last night

Should he have been playing high crosses into the 6'3" striker we don't have?

In the match thread people were slating Martina for playing high crosses into the box, and here people are whining about Mirallas playing low crosses in. Everton, that.

I was neither slating or whining

Stop being such a precious daffodil because I wasn't 100% positive about a players performance

I said overall I thought he did well

Your analysis is flawed - you criticised him for putting low crosses in, but we have no tall forwards to attack high crosses. Calling people names, which I find as amusing as the next daffodil, doesn't hide the fact that your criticism highlights your lack of tactical nous. There were aspects of Kev's performance that were underwhelming, but his decision to go for low crosses rather than high crosses is not one of them.

Try backing down, instead of digging a deeper hole.

Have you ever heard of a thing called jumping? Lookman almost got to a Baines high cross at one point and he was the smallest man on the pitch. A quick player can get past his marker to a high crossed ball. Height isn't always the defining factor. Okazaki scored a header last week for instance, and Cahill was hardly a giant either

He tried numerous low crosses And barely got any of them past the first man. Is it unreasonable to suggest he mix it up a bit?

It's such a minor piece of criticism for you to get your knickers in a twist over as well. I mean there's people in here saying much MUCH worse, but THAT'S what's drawn your ire?

Really?

I can only guess that you felt I wouldn't challenge you on it so you targeted me, someone who said he played well FFS, over the others who are actually being unreasonable towards him

And I believe you started the name calling chum, by calling me a whiner for daring not to give Kev a perfect score

I suggest we either agree to disagree and leave it there

Keep digging mate X X

He wasn't happy at all when he got taken off in the first leg and didn't hide it when walking off..

surprised he didn't start tonight...maybe a bit of disciplining from Koeman?

Waiting for someone on here to actually explain why he should get a start?

Ha s flattered to deceive for some time now, did well when he first came to the club but has tailed off considerably for some time now.

Time for him and his followers to move on now, him to another club and his supporters to reality.

he's a good player and I like him, would be disappointed if he moved on but I think his end product has been lacking recently. He needs to rise to the competition for places.
