IMHO, Mirallas & McCarthy are the most obvious sales this window, as they're on a Senior wage & we have young players better in their positions.

Add Besic to that list If we can keep Besic fit for 3 weeks.

I do have a soft spot for Kev, but he makes us so unbalanced when he plays down the left.

He spends so much time central, we have nothing down the left making it hard for Baines and the central midfielders to have an outlet.

He also makes the middle congested

surprised at all the negative comments being said about his performance today. Thought he was pretty good myself, some very intelligent passing and always seemed to make the right decision. More than happy with him starting big games.

He does not produce that much in truth.

Played really well tonight, covered a lot of ground, no coincidence Baines had his best game tonight.

He offers nothing apart from a nice touch here and there. Zero end product, complete refusal (or inability?) to take on a man. Remember when he twisted and turned his way through the Stoke defence a few years ago and scored? Or his goal against Spurs at the Lane? Looks a mere shadow of that player now.

Would be delighted to get rid of those three and Barkley and bring in two genuinely class players; one centre half and one striker.
