Difference is jelavic was so slow you could almost understand why he always ran that gauntlet but with the pace Kev has it is unforgiveable to be caught offside regularly in that way as he has the speed to get away from players

The movement against him was started by hardline Martinez supporters who took the managers side in their little spat. Now that Kev has outlasted Martinez and has a new manager who may give him a fair shake of the stick, I reckon he's going to respond and wipe away the negativity

Just looking at how Koeman set up at Southampton, wouldn't surprise me at all to see a 4-3-3 with Geri and Kev on either side of Rom. That's tasty on the counter attack that is. With wee Aaron to come on when the full backs are knackered.
