Mirallas is awful at staying onside I've ever seen when playing up front. He has no clue how to hold and time his run in behind. I don't think playing as a striker suits his game. He is best suited to wide positions. I personally think he is best on the left, cutting in on his right foot.

Difference is jelavic was so slow you could almost understand why he always ran that gauntlet but with the pace Kev has it is unforgiveable to be caught offside regularly in that way as he has the speed to get away from players

The movement against him was started by hardline Martinez supporters who took the managers side in their little spat. Now that Kev has outlasted Martinez and has a new manager who may give him a fair shake of the stick, I reckon he's going to respond and wipe away the negativity
