True, but we need a second, proven, goalscorer in the squad too. We need two players who can guarantee comfortably over 10 league goals a season. We know Lukaku will get close to 20, but can we get another striker in who'll get 15 plus?

Barkley (1 in 6 roughly) doesn't score as many as he should, and the same can be said for everybody else you mentioned too. Mirallas is a one-in-four player and Deulofeu will assist 5 times more than he'll score, which is fine for an out-and-out winger.

We desperately need another top striker, you saw how Lukaku went right off the boil (for whatever reasons..), and what happens if he gets injured? Can't rely on just one goalscorer.

I expect we'll get another striker (if Niasse really is not up to the standard) but I think we will see a far higher return from the players you've mentioned under a decent manager. Barkley when in form scores goals (like at the start of this season and his debut season). He and Mirallas could easily hit 10 or above. Deulofeu seems less of a goal scorer but his assist number is great and as he plays more regularly his decision making and finishing should improve.

I can see only good things from that attacking quartet in the future if they are managed well (presuming Koeman rates them and plays them)

Niasse needs shipping out asap.

I agree with you that Barkley and Mirallas should be scoring 10 goals a season. Mirallas used to slot free kicks in for fun, hopefully he can get back to doing that soon.

Would be so excited to have two top strikers.

I'd quite happily play Mirallas as a Striker. He's one of the better players at Everton and I hope he starts to get first team football.

Under Martinez and Moyes - he wasn't utilised for one reason or another. He had good games and ended up getting dropped.

Really? I think most of his chances inside the box have been either on target or have tested the keeper. I can't say the same for Lukaku.
That goal he scored against Leicester away last season shows how effective he is when we press and then break. I hear he's back at Finch Farm preparing for pre season which is great news as if he's fit he's the most dynamic forward in the team.
Lukaku should be in the box anticipating. Mirallas should be the one collecting the ball from deep and running at players.
We need to keep it simple next season and actually play our wingers as opposed to Cleverley or Kone starting out wide.

Mirallas on form is a class act. But I just don't see him as the best finisher at the club.

But yeh agree he should (and will be) given a chance to re find his form of a few years back

That's another thing too, we haven't seen the best of Mirallas at all since he's been at the club IMO with injuries and being left out of the team, just glimpses of a class player here and there. I think he was too much of an individual on the field for Moyes and he was too big a personality for Martinez to handle. Discipline and conditioning is what he needs to work on, suss that out and we have an awesome player.

Think we will see a new Mirallas this season, one on the pitch firstly. He'll be chomping at the bit to play this season and managed right I feel he could do bits.

There is a serious amount of attacking talent already in the team that was misused by Martinez. If Koeman can get Lukaku (if he stays) Mirallas Barkley and Deulofeu all in top form and firing that is as potent a line up as anyone.
if koeman can turn around those 4 with their combined problems at the moment, I am pushing him forward to bring world peace.

Mirallas is awful at staying onside I've ever seen when playing up front. He has no clue how to hold and time his run in behind. I don't think playing as a striker suits his game. He is best suited to wide positions. I personally think he is best on the left, cutting in on his right foot.
