My opinion on him has changed back and forth dowm the years though

I beg the question who exactly is going to be playing on the wing for us otherwise? With bolasie injured, and lookman inexperienced... I think Mirallas will get plenty of game time.

I expect him to start vs stoke if fit.

I think we will have to sell Mirallas, he isn't good enough to get a starting berth. He doesn't seem to be the sort who will bide his time and wait for the few chances that will come his way. Not sure a few cup games will be enough to satisfy him.
Can see him moving on soon.

As he can play as an attacking midfielder, I can see him playing on the right. Think he'll be quite versatile and Koeman might ask him to play there.

Good point that about the value, I really like him but if we got a good offer from a club looking for an experienced player, I would take it as I don't think he will be a major player for us this season, even if I do expected him to get plenty of game time

League – 38 games
Europe – Ideally 17 games
Domestic Cups – 5+ games (ideally twice as many)


At best case scenario we’re already playing 60 games, maybe more. Even if we don’t go deep in all the cups. We are still competing in 55+ games. Lookman and co will get a chance. To say we need to move on Mirallas is crazy talk. Can play on the left, can play on the right, can play up front. Even if he struggles for physicality in the league, he will be pivotal in Europe with his pace and knack for goal, particularly away from home. If he starts just 15 league games, he probably still plays 30 times times in the season.

..And if Dowell is good enough, he will get a chance. We need a big squad.

I get the point people make about Europe and game time but we could sell him and give 2 youngsters gametime
