Like others said above, Mirallas has been our best derby player for the last couple of years. The only one that performed at all under Martinez vs the rs at anfield (and he should've started the previous season). He just gets it, he hates them and I love it.

I was about to post the exact same Dario. Suarez went right through him in the previous Derby and he got nothing for that assault. What the video clip doesn't show is that the racist had run down a blind alley with the ball in the seconds before and almost stopped to invite a challenge - it was a red card all day from Miralles, high, late and reckless - a simple act of retribution from the previous game.
Putting the challenge aside for one moment, how on earth did we not win that game on the day? Geri missed multiple one on ones when he came on and we lacked composure to see it out is my recollection. Probably the last time we turned up against them though to be fair....and still never won!!

I was in the Anney Road as he warmed up on the touch line at the last Derby - he was fuming at what was going on before him - he kept looking at us and as his name was sung and shrugged - he was desperate to get on. No offence to the lads who wore the shirt that day, but we were not good enough or prepared enough. The DCL inclusion ahead of Miralles smacked of a greater defensive responsibility, but when you are not involved enough and the game is running away before your eyes, it was too little too late in bringing Miralles on. The challenge for Kev is to produce more consistently on the pitch so he starts the games he thinks he should be involved in rather than having a strop as any introduction is too late to be effective.

on the day was,jesus you've cost us the game here Kevin,think it was around twenty minutes in?it was a red card all day long,hilarious when just for once in a Derby a major decision went our way,maybe the ref cut him some slack,remember ratboy put him out for three months the previous year and did distin too!!
