I was quite suprised at seeing this news at first, but having thought about it, I pretty much agree with this

No brainer to keep Kev. We have enough players to replace without creating more problems for ourselves.

And as well as that, we've got Europa games next season and at the very least it protects his value. Be interesting how he responds to just being a squad player over the next couple of seasons though.
