It's strange that Koeman says Barkley will be sold in the summer as he has one year left on his contract but Kev is in the same boat, will he be sold as well as we haven't seen anything about him being offered a new contact?

That's because according to the media we only have two players, both of which are leaving in the summer.

Kevin can come in off the bench, provide a spark perhaps, definitely contribute against some of the bottom feeders. Would rather have young, up and coming talent do more of that, but if the price is right, he's a decent player.

Given that there aren't going to be any Champions League standard English or Spanish teams in for him, I would guess that he will want to stay with us simply due to the combination of wage and Europa League games. With no depth at striker and very little depth out wide until Bolasie returns, there's zero chance of him leaving this summer. And I would want him to stay anyway, because when he has a good game he is a difference-maker.

Kev must stay and sign a new deal, we need a squad. There are a lot of players need to get rid instead of Kev.

Hope he stays for Europa mainly. Chances of us buying a squad player better than him for a decent fee are low imo. Defo hope we get a more consistent #1 option in the summer

Rarely gets his head up and looks for the pass, hence so many blind alleys or solo shots. Talented in many ways, but not indispensable.

You need to have a squad unless you think people like DCL is good enough or would like McGeady back to play his position. I don't think Koeman is gonna buy 12 players this summer.

You're right, we do need a squad. A squad of players better than Kev (soz Kev). We won't, and don't need to buy 12 players, but we're going to have a busy summer and part of that will need to include buying quality to replace Kev. Lookman & Bolasie are also both better options so no need for McGeady thankfully.

Lookman is a untested kid and Bolasie is out till December. You have the extra EL games too there is no way these 2 can cope with the amount of game time. I will also get rid of 12 deadwoods first. But I understand, we just have different opinion on this.
