Kevin Mirallas

Poor patch of form, no more than that. We would have to be mad to proactively consider selling him, even an offer of £10m wouldn't go very far in replacing the quality he can add, particularly in this current market.

The fact remains that he is one of the few, albeit inconsistent, sparks in our attack. When opposition teams face us, he's one of those that teams fear. If we can add better quality players around him, I'm sure we will begin to see the best of him again.

Totally agree Cooks, good to see your opinions on football

Mirallas has 5 assists and 5 goals this season. Pienaar has nowhere near that level of contribution.

Cmon Brennan youre better than simply using stats to make a point. Stats have their flaws which you know. Theres tonnes of factors which they dont take into effect.

Kevs use to the team is as an out and out attacker/forward. He offers nothing else. Even McGeady in his short time tiday showed what a half-decent player with some footballing intelligence can do. He spread the ball.nicely and used it well whereas Kev ran into blind allleys and made bad decisions.

Kev cannot do the job Pienaar does full stop. And the job Pienaar does is needed for our style even if he is playing poorly and his stats are.crap.

So that leaves judging Kev on what he can do....and basically he isnt doing it well and I would sell him as I personally think he wont get any more consistent. He is like Cronaldo as he hogs the ball in attack ane it becomes all about him...but unfortunately his stats do not in anyway cover up for the sheer.amount of possession he wastes.

Finally to answer your reply to my post directly...Kev can have better stats, but ut doesnt directly negate what I said..I still think he wastes much more possession, and often in more importsnt areas, than Pienaar.

It's getting worrying that his bad days are outnumbering his good days recently.

Needs to look up a lot more.

I'd be quite happy for McGeady and Deulofeu to start next week if Pienaar is still injured. In fact I'd take Naismith starting ahead of him at the minute.

Problem is i think he still carries a.good rep because of those good days he has...but if step back and look back at his time here overall he has had.much more poor/average days than he has had good/great days.

But just to state I def wouldnt sell him unless we knew we would reinvest the money.

I don't know what I think about the fanny these days.

He's certainly no better nor worse than our other winger types.

They're all capable of doing awesome stuff but are all about as consistent as something not very consistent.

If Rom stays we need two better/more consistent attackers to play either side of Ross up there I thinkkkk. Its a good job we have loads of lots of tonnes of money to do this in the summer.

today was his worst game in a blue shirt. I still would not consider selling him though.. one of our very best attacking players. Kev is ace.

Thought he was good and bad today, nowhere near his worst game in a blue shirt though. Was unlucky not to score twice, especially in the opening minutes.

yeah, if we sold him we'd regret it because he has that touch of class to win a game from nothing. people have paid a lot lot more for a lot lot worse, i.e. downing.

basically, the ones who can do what he does and do it consistantly are people like hazard who cost £32m

kevin mirallas is our main threat!! lukaku should of went off instead of him, mirallas should be played in the strikers role, osman is a good footballer, but should not start!

did you see Mirallas today? I'm a staunch supporter of Super Kev but he was poor today and was rightly subbed. McGeady offered much more when he came on.
