Kevin Mirallas

Mirallas was terrific. Absolutely loved the way he did throw himself into the lfc players. Never expected that from him, but I was standing up and applauding in my own living room when he got substituted. Kevin Mirallas Everton hard man, who would have thought?

We finally had the dirtiest player on the field. Absolutely loved it.

It was awesome wasn't it, nigh on Dunc-esque.

The best thing about the tackle is that if he'd done it against most other Prem players and a poster wrote 'gutted he didn't end his season'', it would be infractions galore and 'too far that, lid''.

But because it was on Suarez it can be lauded - quite right too!

I had family over and they really gave me some dissaproving looks when I was applauding Mirallas and shouting "I hope you'll never be able to walk again." Couldn't care less about it, absolutely despise that lowlife [Poor language removed]. Would've even been better if Mirallas aimed a few feet higher.

I love that he hates Suarez as much as we do. You could see he was desperate to stamp on his head in the 2nd half as well.

It was the absolute perfect challenge. Eyes were firmly on the knee, launched himself off the ground just on impact so that there was as much momentum as possible, and a nice safe landing. Gets better every time I see it.

Nice snide moment in the second half too when he landed on Suarez.

Mirallas was magnificent today. Really up for the game, scored, was so influential especially in getting to the loose ball ahead of the keeper to set up the 2nd. I was thrilled with his retribution too on Suarez. always thought he would attempt it, and he so nearly came up with the jackpot 'stretcher required' we have craved since the **** got Rodwell sent off, and general attempts to maim half the team. He certainly has devilment in him. Squirting the water at Wiltshire shows he will dish it out when required!

As has been said by everyone, I have no trouble with what Mirallas did today. Football used to be about this sort of stuff, getting a kicking then getting a bit of retribution. There is no way he'd have gone to actively break his leg etc but he wanted to leave something on him as didn't kev have to spend time on the side-lines after the suarez stamp on his foot?

As for his performance, I thought he was superb and looked the sort of player that has bubbled away during his time with us. For me he is a second striker though and looks better off the front man buzzing this way and that way, I actually think martinez sees this which is why he is actively looking to give Gerard game time so as to free up the space for him in the middle. I'll admit I'd lost a bit of faith in Kev in recent weeks but there is a boss player in there.
