It reminds me of when the headmaster at school told me I wouldn't make it to uni knowing perfectly well that I would try my best to prove him wrong and I succeeded in doing so.

Yeah, I guess it's just a bit weird doing it in public though? I think that's what annoyed me last night. Perhaps a public message will get more of a reaction from him.

Just seems a bit bizarre to have a dig at our in form player in the spotlight. Is it a case of making sure he isn't too big for his boots? He seems to be the type of player who thrives on the attention, not the opposite.

if Redcoat put out a challenge in the echo asking Moyes to shape up and win a trophy I doubt he would see it as 'motivating' should be done behind closed doors especially as he's already done it once recently to the same player doesnt take much for someone to feel like they are being singled out.

There's a far better chance of Mirallas being capable of 90 minutes than there is of Moyes winning a trophy to be fair.

Good point. I think we're about to find out the answer. I've been singing his praises recently along with many others about how good he is but the really good players are mentally strong as well. Let's hope he turns out to be one of those.
