I can see where Death is coming from but we'd never sign a proper right winger who hugs the touchline and that's it.

Even LD is very versatile and didn't really perform that role when he was here, certainly not last time anyway.

This lad has skill, pace and is right footed, so I think he could do that, but being versatile like the rest of our attacking midfielders is a great thing. It allows us to be quite fluid and... well, we might even play decent football.

Okay, I'm dreaming now.

Having versatile players is a number one priority when your squad is as small as ours. If we sign this guy i'll be very happy, especially as the price being banded about would in theory leave a transfer fund from the Rodwell sale to buy somebody else. God knows we've reduced the wage bill enough to get at least another player in on top.

Of course i'd rather sign a player who is verstatile and plays all across the line that is better than a dedicated right winger but who is crap.

With Hibbert and Neville at rb we need a right winger who hugs the line, takes players on and can creat by himself. Mirallas looks like he does that down the left in vids but we don't "need" a player like that down the left to play in front of Baines.

Cheers man, thats cool if he can do both well.

As I said mate, he plays RW for Belgium, as Hazard plays LW. But they're not averse to swapping flanks either.

Most definitely mate. If Jelavic did get injured, God help us, we'd know we have Mirallas and possibly also Naismith instead of just Anichebe. Hopefully Niang too but to be fair he's only 17.

Anyway, I wanted a right winger to offer a threat on that right flank. Someone who cuts in on the right will need a good overlapping fullback, and we only really have one of those, and he's a LB. If this lid played RW for us he'd be more inclined to hug the touchline, and he'd also easily be our quickest attacking player. Being able to play in other positions, be that from the start or swapping mid-game, is a massive bonus and probably a major reason as to why he was on Moyes' radar in the first place.

Not every player needs to be versatile though. Baines isn't, Jags isn't, Jelavic isn't, sometimes you're better off having specialists in among your versatility.

In a perfect world mate we'd go and get Darijo Srna as well but it's not going to happen. Between Mirallas, Pienaar, Osman, Naismith, Jelavic, Fellaini, Baines and Barkley (LOL) we should have enough creativity. For once.

Okay 167 thousand views on this thread, I have hit it probably 2000 of those, I have been out all day. Have we signed him yet or any IKO's got any updates because I can't handle this, I have been dreaming in work of Mirallas wearing number 9 scoring a diving header winner to ruin RVP's Man Ure debut please tell me this is on?????????
