Can someone decode this for me? I dont speak LCAB

Hope the person who started this thread has got some +Rep! He's called a few things spot on now hasn't he? before any mention elsewhere.

I could be wrong but I think one of the Greek posters said that he often plays on the left for Olympiakos and loves to cut in to shoot on his right foot.

If we get him I reckon Moyes will use him in a few positions. Sounds like he can play anywhere along front line (CF, RW, LW, AM), so it'll be great having so many options to switch things around, depending on who we're playing.

Funny thing to do that for a right winger :D

Look guys, i'm excited about this guy and hope we get him cause he looks decent. But i want an actual proper right winger. Sure, a player who is good enough to play well across the entire front line is great but from the videos i've seen he's been mainly down the left, would be nice to see how he plays down the right.

If he does play there for us i hope he's good enough and isn't better down the left or through the middle.

It looks like he plays on the left for his club and on the right for his country. He's right footed so presumably his club want him cutting in and shooting and his country want him hitting the byline and crossing. Seems reasonable.

I can see where Death is coming from but we'd never sign a proper right winger who hugs the touchline and that's it.

Even LD is very versatile and didn't really perform that role when he was here, certainly not last time anyway.

This lad has skill, pace and is right footed, so I think he could do that, but being versatile like the rest of our attacking midfielders is a great thing. It allows us to be quite fluid and... well, we might even play decent football.

Okay, I'm dreaming now.

Really not sure what defines a 'proper right winger' anyway. Most modern wingers can play on either side of the pitch based on what their manager wants in terms of their play style. Drenthe was a 'left winger' who had his best games for us on the right because he loved cutting inside, youtube videos are an absolutely awful way of judging a player's real ability. The fact that he plays on the right in plenty of his games is enough for me.

Adam Johnson plays on the right for City but at least some of their fans seem to think he's gash and should be played on the left, as another example.

Cheers man, thats cool if he can do both well.
