That would be a good thing if we weren’t able to offload him though. He’s motivated and his contract runs out so win win. Unless Brands turns into Walsh and gives him another 3 years, I don’t see the problem with that
...I am extremely suspicious of players who’s attitudes and form appear to change when contracts go into their last season. I’m an old fella, i’ve seen it happen so often with certain players, and I fear Mirallas falls into that category. Regardless, the main problem was giving him his current deal.
It's going to be hard to find someone to take him off our hands, so maybe he's sat down with Silva and Silva's said "I'll give you some minutes as a back up this season so you can put yourself in the shop window so you can find a club when your deal runs out?" and Kev has agreed, hence the seeming improvement in his application and effort?
