Foley sale could mean windfall - Dunstable Today
Really cant see it myself. Another right back? Sounds like they are trying to instigate a transfer.
A welcome cash boost could be heading Luton Town's way if Kevin Foley's mooted £2.5million move from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Premiership Everton goes ahead.
Tabloid speculation at the weekend linked the Republic of Ireland B international with a transfer to Goodison Park and also claimed that West Ham and Blackburn are interested in the 24-year-old's signature.
And Luton director Antony Brown revealed that the Hatters could be in line for a six-figure sum if the move ever comes to fruition.
He said: "There is a sell-on. Obviously we always keep an eye on ex-players, especially those who have come through the youth system, and if there's a financial benefit to us it's even more rewarding.
"It's certainly no surprise to people at the club that he is being touted to a club like Everton.
"The only surprise to me is Manchester United haven't bought him.
"I think he is the most natural replacement for Gary Neville in the game today.
"Kevin is a player we've got a huge amount of admiration for.
"He is one of my favourite players from the last decade."
Really cant see it myself. Another right back? Sounds like they are trying to instigate a transfer.
