Kevin du Bruyne?

.....RM already hinting he's after cover following long-term injuries to Kone and Gibson. I suggest a striker and central midfielder are top of his list.

How much would he realistically go for? I know a lot of our transfer money seems to disappear but there must surely be some funds left over from the sale of Fellaini. If De Bruyne is worried Atlético Madrid wouldn't give him enough game time, and he'd consider Wolfsburg (finished 11th last season and are currently 6th place), then he might well be open to a move here. And what better place to prepare for the World Cup with two of your Belgian international team mates?
I may have foolishly convinced myself that this could happen.

Would have this lad in a shot!. Quality player, still young and learning aswell, would improve us straight away but would be a cracking player for us in years to come.

Would end up being Pienaar's future replacement as he prefers to play from the left, cutting in, or centrally off of the striker.

Didn't Chelsea pay a decent amount of money for him though, around about £11m or so, I'd imagine they'd want a large chunk of that back so that could be a stumbling block for us come Jan?!.
