Add the fees of the strikers he didn't buy but sold (like rooney and vaughan) and we already do show a profit on our forwards in Moyes time and have upgraded from joe max moore and radzinski to Jelavic, Naismith, Vellios and Mirallas.

It;s idiotic to go after Moyes for his record in the transfer market, it's fantastic. And there's lot of other faults he honestly has you can attack him for.

The most amazing thing about this is that Wolves finished bottom last season and had one of the most turgid outfits ever seen in the Prem, and yet have just sold over £30 million of forwards with Doyle allegedly valued at another £8 million or so. Crazy. I'd rather play Anichebe.

I'd rather play Anichebe as well. And maybe 6-7% pens? Either way, how many goals have Wolves scored as a whole while he was there, and Reading before that? He's worth between £3m-£4m. Problem is, as you said, Vic and Vellios can do the same job for us.
