Never heard anyone say a bad word about with.I don't know how it is of any comfort today,however how incredible must it be to not seemingly have anyone have anything to say about you other than good things when you pass away,he was just a genuinely good guy

Kevin joined Everton from the relative footballing wilderness at Trabzonspor, and few had expectations that he'd bring enough to see us secure safety, never mind that he would ultimately etch his name in the Everton history books.
Like many before and after him, Super Kev was touched by his time at Everton and quickly became one of us - probably even more so than most other former players and even those who had been with us much longer than he was.
As proud as he was to play for his boyhood club Arsenal, it's incredible to think that he may actually have ended his football career with his most cherished times having been at Everton.
A true loss to football and as @Drico rightly says, he now takes a deserved seat alongside other genuine Everton legends forever more.
Rest in peace Kevin.
