- King's Dock
- Fortress Funds/Colin Samuelson
- Rooney
- Kirkby
- Fernandez & Gosling **** ups
- His larup he spouts when things are good on the pitch
- His 'head in sand' when things go wrong/need sorting
- His grip on his wallet and reluctance to spend - Oh, but he's looking for investment 24/7 so that's OK
- His lack of business acumen

The man's an ex actor FFS, he's full of [Poor language removed] and I for one can't believe a word he says from now on - other than his 'Boys pen/Dave Hickson' stories he regurgitates every season. Seems to be the only thing he's spoken a true word about

Geez...reaching on everyone of those aren't we? But hey, if you think it somehow makes a case for the Kenwrongers...keep at it.

Not my position to say but it's fairly obvious right?

Yeah, get bought out by the next Johnny come lately who's got money. Cause that's a "guarantee" for success vs. how we're doing it now. Right? It's a guarantee isn't it?

One word: bunkum....except for that bit in bold.

What makes me laugh is this, all us clear thinking non blinded people who think hes Kenwrong, we just throw the odd line here and there, but all you Uncle Bill walks on water feel the need to write paragraph after paragraph pointing out how great he is, its almost as if your trying to convince yourself.

Just saying.

Ok, and I'm "just saying" that I'm still waiting for the facts from those who think Kenwright is driving this club into the ground. Unfortunately, they've got nothing. NOTHING. So since they don't have any evidence of this Kenwright being the worst thing for the club, the next best thing they can attempt is to drag his name through the ground and point fingers (remember, this is while presenting no evidence or factual basis for their beliefs).

When you cats have some concrete proof of anything that you've been bashing him with, I'm all ears. Until then, feel free to keep moaning "because it's your right as a supporter to moan."

Spot on Ghost

Oh yeah, agreed Ghost. The man deserves far better than he gets from some sections of the "support."

I sent BK an email back in January after seeing an article in the Echo regarding a very ill Everton fan who's family wanted to arrange a very special day out at Everton and BK sorted something out for them. It made me realise WHY everton are the peoples club and it's not just because of Moyes, BK may not have the cash, he may open his mouth too much (like most fans who get carried away, weren't we NAILED ON this year!) but his heart is in the right place and thats just as important (granted an extra £100M wouldn't go amiss!)

Anyway, if anybody gives a [Poor language removed], this the reply I got back: -

Your email to Everton has just been sent on to me.

This is simply a short note to say that I appreciate your words. No Chairman can get it right all the time, but there are a few out there who think I cant get it right ANY of the time!! Letters like yours always help the battle.

Thank you

Yours in Blue

Bill K

LEAVE BILL KENWRIGHT ALONE

To be honest I'm not sure what to think of Kenwright, I think that he has been more responsible chairman than most in the league and he does have Everton's best interest at heart. Admittedly the FSF, King's Dock and DK fiascos have damaged his reputation, however he has supported Moyes where he can, in 2003/2004 and 2005/2006 a lot of clubs would have sacked Moyes for the poor league standing, but Kenwright didn't.

His recent comments about seeing 4 potential investors in the last 10 months could well have been embellished a bit and could have been a PR exercise, to try and counter the likes of Davek and MikelsGoats comments, as I would expect Everton's PR department to at least visit the fansites or listen to the local radio chatshows. I do however think that the comments must have some truth in them, especially with the publication ok the Keith Harris article, as he is unlikely to stake his professional reputation as a favour for Kenwright. Harris suggests there were two buyers so the extra two may have been part of the PR exercise, but we are unlikely to find that out.

Honestly I don't find it suprising that we can keep potential bids quiet, as the vast majority of our transfers do come out of the blue, so why would it not b the same for a potential takeover? Hell they could even sign an agreement to keep the deal quiet until it is complete before any negotiations begin, it wouldn't be suprising.

Love to hear them, from what I have read on TW, BK, NSNO, the blerts over at KEIOC and here - I see hot air, very little substance but an awful lot of hear'say.

If anything I believe Kenwright is far too romantic towards Everton to be a lying scumbag that many make out. I also believe he is far too trusting and believes too much of what he is told by those who surround him.

Nobody and I mean nobody can ever say that the man does not have Everton's best interests at heart. On a shoe string, and without incurring half as much debt as supposed bigger clubs have amassed, he has built a club that has a very good squad, a well loved (by some) manager, an excellent academy with state of the art facilities, and a feeling around the place that this is a great club.

How many players felt that for most of the 90s?

Getting a bit sick of people diving in and making outlandish claims with no proof at all. Saying that he is selling the family silver etc...has he? are we in as much debt as Liverpool? Man U? Have we amassed debt and then got relegated? Has he sold us out to dodgy shieks and arabs that have ****ed Pompey over? How about selling us to dodgy Icelandic folk who ****ed over West Ham?

I think some people need to get over this blockade that they have setup which prevents them from listening, thinking and having a rationale thought about our chairman.

Sure I criticise Moyes, I think he makes weird decisions - but he's been a good man to have at the helm and has done well. I think he can do more, and it frustrates me to see him not take some kind of risk, but I can understand why he doesn't do it - as I can understand why Kenwright doesn't give the club up to some American group who just want to use it as a vehicle to facilitate their own debt repayments.

So go on, what exactly has the man done wrong?

FKN love it Ghost!!! The Man has a heart the size of Everton

If you're using the small, almost minor faults of Kenwright as a stick to beat him with you need your head testing, nothing wrong with disliking him - but having a go at him over Gosling & Fernandes? what a laugh that is.

What you on about mate, 'concrete proof'?? So you think all the FSF, King's Dock, Kirkby, "Rooney will never be sold for less than £50m" bollocks, Fernandez/Gosling ****-ups, etc, etc is all a myth?

Not 'really having a go' solely for that though is it, just adding to the list of all his fcuk-ups!
