I’m delighted we didn’t get dragged into a ‘bidding war’ of sorts with this one. From Sky sports it looks like what Fulham offered him is pretty silly considering his injury record etc. So happy we didn’t try and match or beat it like we would have previously. We move on.

I am disappointed to have missed out on Tete, as I thought that he would have been an improvement on what we have.
