Why? Fulham have been a very good team for the last few years and he's one of their better players. He's a quality international class player in a position where we have been weak for a long time. He's only 29. He's on a free which means more of our budget can be spent on forwards. We need to sign 8 players. Probably only 2/3 are going to be for significant fees.

I don't know much about Fulham or the player.
On the face of it, without indication of investment, it LOOKS like we are replacing one aged free transfer with another ageing free transfer.
Same as usual.
I remain both hopeful and sceptical.

What are you basing that on? I watch his season highlights and saw him dribbling and crossing in a way that I've never seen from Mylo. You do realise that two players can have identical attacking stats but one can still be significantly better than the other.

Think its just looking at the stats tbh mate.

I had a quick look and he seems like a solid defensive fullback stat wise.

Hardly has anything going forward. Which for a attacking side like Fulham is a bit strange.

In fact mykolenkos attacking stats are better then tetes last season.

But i have only seen him play a handful of games so i cant comment except on the stats i looked up.

Looked at his highlights. He's clearly miles better on the ball than Myko. Stats can be very misleading as they don't show how good a players touch is, how well they receive and manipulate the ball or the creativity or quality of their passing. I.e. the keys parts of being a good footballer.

Think you're chasing a unicorn a bit there. Players like Baines are few and far between. Even someone like Coleman wasn't particularly good going forward his crossing and passing were pretty poor.
