Transfer Rumour Kenny Tete

Boom boom boom boom Kenny’s in the room. There ain't nobody better than mighty Kenny Tete.

He's definitely one of the better players to pick up on a free after his contract expires. Missed quite a few games last season with an injury but I think it'll be decent signing for buttons.

Seems a sensible signing. Also got a gut feeling we might see a bit more of Coleman than we're expecting this season (5-10 games including cups.)

As I say, that's just a gut feeling. Why, might you ask? Well just a gut feeling that Seamus being Seamus he's been trying to come back and reach full fitness so he can make the right back spot his own. I've got a feeling he's probably accepted that is not gonna happen now, and going forward he'll be on some sort of 'programme' to try and keep him injury free and ready to step in for the odd game here and there. Could be wrong like.

Really smart move from us if we pull this off.

His fitness record is what it is but I'm comfortable knowing O'brien can do a good job there if needed.

Say it quietly, but we seem like we might actually know what we're doing a bit this summer. Huge amounts of work still to be done though of course.

He was really good when he first broke into the Ajax squad. He had quite some pace and a very good tackle. His forward play was not superb though. Especially his crosses were quite poor. Having said that I thought he would be the future RB for the Dutch national team for years to come. Sadly left Ajax way too soon (like many before and after him) and didnt fully live up to his potential.

Still think he is a very good addition for us as a free transfer. Nice one!

Also whenever I've seen him he never seems to get legged. Absolutely pocketed Ndiaye this season as well. Looks a nightmare to play against.
I did a search on the Fulham forum and they were trotting out a stat from 2023 saying he was the best 1 on 1 defender in the top leagues in Europe based on having been ran past only a few times in the season.
