Was very highly regarded, in particular by the younger and less experienced new caps, as Ireland assistant manager. Not lacking in self confidence as evidenced by prominent championship tv pundit gigs straight after retiring too. Has the polish club owners love in that respect. He will get gigs higher than his current role, no doubt about it.

The one negative thing I would say is that he seems to love himself . Confidence / arrogance and vanity is something only the likes of Jose and George Clooney can pull off

Have to be 100% honest , I thought he was a terrible appointment and after they sold their best players would take them down .
He's done a great job to be fair.

Amazing what signing 15 players and £200m can do.

He used to do some of the co-commentary on sky's championship matches a few seasons ago. I was always impressed with him, one of the only ones I never got irritated by.
