I considered this. He is a good, exciting player but he's come from a different league and he's hardly played. Jury is still out on him for me. Players like Honda though, they've got a proven class already. It'd be nice to get those sort of players but obviously you've got to pay more because there's less risk. It just gets me when you look at most of Spurs signings for example. Spurs are like the jocks slamming little old goofy Everton into lockers and dropping our books.

I'm still shocked we actually got him, I'm expecting him to go soon. As an Everton fan it makes me paranoid when we actually sign a talented player like that.

Honda would be an amazing signing though, I just can't imagine it. We'll just end up with some fat, lazy CF instead.
