Not to break the mood, but how can he be in talks with us when his contract doesn't run out before December 31? I'm pretty sure clubs can't talk to players before it's only 6 months left of their contract. He would be the perfect replacement for Fellaini when (if) he leaves though.

Officially that's the case if talks took place now there couldn't be any binding agreement , looks pretty unreliable unfortunately
Even if this was true Doesn't this illustrate a problem in that who'd make the decision to buy him ? We've no idea if moyes will still be here . If we were in talks we could spend a portion of budget on a player a decision made by a manager who might not be here. We aren't Chelsea as well what do we say ?
