This is all down to Klopp, he should take the blame. The whole time he's been there people have pointed out their keepers have been crap and they don't have any good centre backs, but he just bought a crap keeper and an even worse expensive flop to try and patch up the defence.

Why is it, every interview, every RS goal van dijk is always there giving it the big one, he's always one of the first there celebrating with the scorer, keep an eye on it. But when they concede a goal, he's nowhere to be seen. Where is he? They were better off with klavan in defence. He doesn't mark anyone, he just hides.

Surely the greatest manager whoever lived will explain how he has known for two years this was a problem area but did nothing to rectify it resulting in tonight's calamity.

He never finishes a full season either, quite injury prone. I do think he can be a decent defender though

Can't help but feel sorry for him on a human level, you know that lad is going to get everything from death threats to bricks through his windows. It's only a sport at the end of the day, people shouldn't have their lives ruined by what happens in a game of football but I really do fear for this lad now. We know how many idiots they are in this world, especially in their fanbase. They hacked into Dele Alli's social media for winning a penalty against them, they'll be digging up this lad's relatives and abusing their corpses.

It's an absolutely disgusting way to react, but Social Media seems to have a habit of bringing out the true personality of these type people. As for his career, he's going to have to show some real (no pun intended) strength to come back from that mess.
