Makes sense. Thinking about it, I can't think of many gettable defenders in the prem who I would like at all.

Yeah i still think there is massive part for that type of defender in the game - someone who will put their head where it hurts and hoof it to row Z, at this point id probably have Dann over him though.

Well it is a statement if the player is an improvement on the outgoing player.

He could come in and BE world class, whereas Stones still has a lot to learn and has the POTENTIAL to be word class.

Aye he could, or be a mangala and potential to be a waste of money in the end.

It's all well and good signing such expensive replacements but on its own it looks foolish, especially as more than one position needs strengthening.

Until we actually sign players then I'm not getting my hopes up. We have at least 2 top players signed up yet weeks later they are nowhere to be seen. So doesn't matter if koeman himself says we are in for x y or z, so far been a little but of a let down
