Basically that there are several reasons why LD will not be in MLS next year including:

1) Done everything there is to be done in MLS (minus CCL, but he can't win that singlehandedly)
2) LA has been shopping DPs for the last year
3) He's bored
4) Needs to keep up for the US National Team - who still needs him
5) His love for Everton - basically, if he leaves, there's only 1 place he's going to.

I think that is his biggest reason personally, from his debut at the Emirates in that crazy game he has felt nothing but Love from Blues, how could you not want that in your life?

Owned up to his lethargy, scored a hattrick for the national team, and hasn't looked back since. Form has been solid minus the game last week where the entire team looked flat.

So he hasn't come out and said it, but for two months in the beginning of the MLS season - he looked bored.

Hasn't looked bored since May - mostly because he and the other DPs had to pull LA out of last place. They are now in playoff contention, and should make it.

Ah ok. Was wondering what was meant by the bored bit and how it was expressed. Thought it might have been something someone he knew said about him to the media.

Whenever he has played for Everton he has always looked pretty level-headed on the field. Unassuming and professional.

Isn't this why Moyes doesn't like dealing with agents though. He finds a player that no-one else is bothered about, then the agent rings Redknapp, O'Neill, Bruce or whoever and tells them Moyes wants him, then they all want the player and we're screwed.

I'm not sure about him not liking dealing with agents , we signed Cahill because we paid the agents fee when palace refused as the deal to them was all but done , put simply it's impossible to operate in modern football without agents although moyes does like dealing with his brother or the other company where is son has been working as an 'intern' . Given that his brother and son work in the business of agents I can't see him being too 'anti' them
