i agree with bilic being a good choice . i dont agree with the him bleeding us dry comment though.
if my memory serves me right when he played he played well. he picked up a bad injury and the club said he was finished and cancelled his contract , where as bilic said he wasnt finished and the contract should stand.

the club payed big money and big wages , players get injured and imo the club where in a bad situation and the player got the shitty end of the stick.

the trouble at the time was we had 3 big players on big contracts with bad injurys.williamson parkinson and billic.

if i was in bilic's shoes i wouldnt have been happy with the club either.

if moyes did ever leave though there is 2 names which i really like.....steve coppell and alex mcleash.
Billic never played that well for us and the frustration felt by everyone with his injury led to a similar feeling to Van de mede although not as well deserved I spoke to him a few times at costco and he was a nice guy who praised the fans of both mereside clubs as enjoyed the banter.

yep thats about right.

but i think the difference between vdm and billic is that bilic was a pro and didnt like being injured where as vdm seems to make trouble for himself and appears to not be bothered.

at the time i knew the financial side of the injury was bad for the club but i just felt a bit sorry for bilic and i think he gets stick from blues unfairly sometimes.

although saying that ive never heard one fan who has met him in the flesh say a bad word about him.

I'm waiting for the echo to print DIC get fed up being messed by liverpool and throw their cash behind Everton who today welcomed their new signings Arshavin and Ronaldo:lol::lol::lol:

Or why not go abroad for a change, Prandelli of Fiorentina or Pellegrini of Villarreal? We dont only have to look in our domestic league, you never know, maybe the 'School of Soccer Science' term can be reintroduced with the aid of some foreign flair.

Yeah... I mean the last thing we'd want is a young manager from a club like Preston, with no Prem experience... I mean, when has that ever ended well? b):P

Ha good one !!! :D

I think Irvine would do ok but I think most supporters would want the big name manager, regardless of how they thought Irvine would do here.
