I would support Everton no matter what even if we were in the conference its in my blood but of course I want to see us do well and win things and bring back the glory days.

First time in my lifetime I can genuinely say that I am actually excited about the way we play, and the players attitudes. We may not get immediate success but I am genuinely excited about the long term plans and the new management style Martinez has brought us.

I really feel it in my bones that we will win a trophy soon.

I sat there before whilst watching the match feeling really excited. I've seen Everton score 4,5,6 and 7 before, and dominate teams under Moyes, but today we stroked the ball about, and stopped QPR playing. Ok, they are a rubbish team, but our team oozes class and importantly depth.

We have imo, 3 of the most talented full backs in the country, two great centre backs in Distin and Jags, who are going unmissed as Alcaraz and Stones are doing so well. A middle of the park containing an international centre midfielder who oozes class, and McCarthy who with every game is getting better. With Barkley we have a player in the exact mold as Gerrard, and as much as i hate him, he's been an outstanding player. With Mirallas, Deulofeu, Pienaar we have some excellent wingers and Lukaku too is great.

Don't forget the lads who aren't quite ready for first team football like Green, Kenny, Lundstram etc.

It's an exciting time to be a blue. We need to keep hold of everyone.

I was asking this very question today. Still don't know the answer. In terms of probabilities alone it would suggest very long odds on us winning the cup this season. But then, long odds are beaten every once in a while.

You can't blame every single defeat vs Liverpool on him lad. Wouldn't be surprised if we beat United later this season and then get him in the cup and lose to him. Would be typical Everton
