I think the point is Besic, amongst many others from the Martinez/Koeman eras, have been farmed out on loan because they were bad signings in the first place and simply not good enough! It’s not like sending “kids” out on loan to get experience, these were just poor signings!

We don't need to sign another forward. Who ever came in would be sitting on the bench with the odd 20 mins here and there, and probably bag a couple of goals between now and January. We'd be better off using Tosun in this role seeing as we're already paying him like. Keep the powder dry until January, when we're 12 points clear there will be a queue of top, rampant forwards waiting to join the party.

Ok mate. It’s called squad depth and the other top teams plan for fatigue, injuries and rotation - if you’d rather we just kept a threadbare squad and stay small time mentality, that’s fine.
