Armstrong would be going out on loan to play regularly in the event that we brought in the 3 midfielders we need (I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that we won’t buy the 3 midfielders we need). Tim sold because he’s not good enough, which would leave us with Gana, Garner, the two new lads and Brownhill. Solid depth and cover for when Gana goes to the AFCON too.

I seem to be one of the only people in here actually demanding the club pull their finger out and do something. You and the rest of the delusional ostrich’s seem content to sit and wait for deadline day to maybe potentially scramble two loans over the line, as we kick off the Premier League season with 17 senior players. Maybe review your own ambitions first and foremost.
