Jose Mourinho

He may have been but he hasn't shown any sign of that since and after his 2nd pre-season you expect his ideas to be fully ingrained and starting to flourish. You expect progress not regression and even if it is, you shouldn't go from 3rd top to 3rd bottom.

I suppose it depends if you factor in our performances without our starting 2 centre midfielders.

I seriously cant believe you are still behind silva

you obv just read the stats that you like to see and make out the injuries are the real problem with us underperforming

zat, silva is literally bottom in every single crucial stat that there is.. wins from behind, set piece conceding , points , goals for , same subs and rigid formation

what on earth are you seeing that makes you think, 'yeah silvas the man' at this point you have been his biggest advocate and are just stpuidly driving the car whilst its on fire hoping the breeze puts it out

absolute parody of a poster

" ABSOLUTE PARODY OF A POSTER "

lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

LOL.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho said the £300m he has spent on his squad so far is "not enough"

yes but that's for winning the league and competing in champions league ..

we could win an FA Cup if we spent about 9 million... doubt Moshiri would want to stretch that far tho

So Jose we’d like you to be our next manager, but you’ll have to sell Niasse, Tosun, Walcott, Schneiderlin and Martina before you can buy anyone.

Oh and by the way, no one wants them, as we’ve already tried getting rid of them lol

I don't get this with Gbamin, he has literally hardly played, so we can hardly say we're missing him because we don't know what type of player he is, and he could easily turn out to be gash. Now I'm not saying he won't make a difference, but it comes across as if he's played numerous games for us, and is boss.

That's the thing mate, I think some are deluded if they think Mourinho would come to us and work within a transfer budget.

Heres why Jose will not be managing Everton any time soon.

His yearly wage is around 15m a year - 15m is nothing money.
He would demand serious transfer funds - We dont have serious transfer funds, we have spent 86m over the last 3 years, if you think you are attracting Jose with 30m a window to spend, ive got some very bad news for you.
So Moshiri can just fund our transfers, right? - Hes already ploughed 250m into the club for very little return on the pitch, I would suspect he wont be in a hurry to do it again, he hasnt invested in us to be a charity, hes invested to make money, but lets assume hes willing to give Jose the 200m a window he would want.
FFP is still a thing - People often say it doesnt matter about FFP, cos we dont play in Europe, but if your appointing Jose and giving him 200m a window, Europa should be the minimum aim.

The above are the reasons why I dont think we would be able to make a package attractive enough to appoint Jose Mourinho.

The above also ignores the fact that Jose is a winner, but hes also spent 1.5bn on transfers to achieve that aim, the clubs he has joined have all been clubs with some degree of CL pedigree, clubs that have in their very recent history challenged for Titles and won trophies, Everton is none of those things. So even if you could make a package that Jose would like. Its still in his best interests to sit and wait for an easier job. Hes a short term manager, hes never stayed anywhere longer than 3 years. Even for Jose we are not a 3 year project.

Its nothing to do with ambition, there are only 10 clubs in the world who Jose would join, being unable to attract the greatest manager of the last 20 years has nothing to do with ambition, its called reality.

Anyway, these are my thoughts, please subscribe to my youtube channel and be sure to hit me up with some likes on Insta.
