It is a strange appointment having this fella take over. Said it yesterday but it's united writing off a whole half season which for a club their size with so much to play for is ridiculous .

They can potentially win 2 trophies and long shot qualify for the champions League again. Hiring someone with next to no experience in the league after failing at his only attempt so far is akin to us hiring Paul Jewell because he is a blue.

As silly as it is, allardyce would have been a more sensible appointment , that is saying something.
