Jose Mourinho is boss

If He ever came to Everton(which he won't) everyone should be over the moon. That Tells you what you need to know.

They had a bad result against Sevilla. Teams in the premiership aren't used to playing against Spanish clubs, clubs that are technically strong who keep the ball but also can defend.

It's the same with us. We are generally fine against Italian, French and German teams but suppossedly worse Spanish teams normally school us with their B team.

For Utd at home it's fine playing on the counter against Barca etc but against Sevilla it breeds anxiety.

The biggest issue Jose has is that he's quickly turning into the Big Sam of top teams. He goes to a club and gets results but ultimately is forced out because the fans also want to be entertained.

I also don't think hes a good enough coach to change that. He's a great man manager but we are now living in an era of top coaches - Fergie was right to get out when he did.

BTW with that said we should grab Silva.
How can you say he's a great man manager when he's lost the dressing room so many times?
He's an egotistical tit. He doesn't give a toss about his club or his players. He only cares about his own reputation,, and players are getting wise to him.

The way he criticises his players in public makes him sound worse than Koeman and Allardyce put together.

He's also been accused, more times than I can bother to count, of deflecting to protect players.

The fact is he actually did it again by basically shutting up shop on the press by spelling it all out and leaving them with no questions. Why let the press have a go when the only person they should be listening to can do it...which is the point I think he was trying to make to the players; he thinks that the press made it out to be a walk in the park and this got in their heads.

I don't think he's that complicated a person. He'll set out the tactics and go to war with the press for you but, if you don't take care of your side of things, he'll get his point across somehow. That's all that happened here IMO.

I like the guy, I think he'd never sell you out as long as you're in the trenches with him. Every match is a war for him and he'll be the first crazy f'er to go over the top and take a bullet for you as long as you're not curled up in a hole crying for mum.

He belongs in the GSE as much as he does the touchline...the whopper.

Did the business again today and shat all over the city fans and teams dream of winning the league in a Manchester derby. Credit where credits due again to a smug antagonising dislikeable Jose, he's got utd as a force again as a cert for a champions league place . Can only see them improving next season but City are now the team to beat and it will be difficult for him to turn that around over 38 games.

He’s been there for two full seasons now - how long does he need!

after the damage Moyes and van gaal left ? 3-4 years I’d say . He’s done a good job so far . 2 trophies last season second this year and possibly another cup . He’s done a cracking job .
What damage did Moyes do? He was there for nine months or so! And he signed two or three players, with Mata and Fellaini still regularly getting matches.

He also got them further in the Champions League than Van Gaal or Mourinho.

Louis was the one they trusted the reshape the squad

Do you think he should have won the league ahead of Man City this year?
No, but he should have built a cohesive and entertaining team with all the money he has spent. Instead they are negative and less than the sum of their parts. They were embarrassed by Sevilla!

Yeah, but most teams lose a game you would expect them to win at some point.

Why would you expect him to build an entertaining team? He has never done it before.
