the way Woodward dealt with the transfer window didn’t help but at the same time Utd binned him in the April so clearly they weren’t happy with his performance . He still had a talented side whatever way you look at it .
True. I actually think they would have done better if they had given him another season after finding his feet, but you don’t really get that in football now.

I'd rather have City tbh. Liverpool fans also hate them because they're not a ~real football club~ with their nasty oil money.
Nah, I see City as a smaller club than us and don’t want them overtaking us on trophies. At least United are so far ahead of us already and it sees them stretch further ahead of Liverpool.

They were nothing until that money. They used to be like a West Ham.

You know you're getting old when you can remember City were once a crap team whose biggest name was Georgi Kinkladze.

I've always despised Man United, mainly because they were the plastics' club of choice. Even before I changed teams to Everton, I was rooting for us to win the FA Cup in 1995 because I hated United so much.

Mourinho just signed a new contract worth 65 million pounds.

i still say his first ever season at Chelsea 04-05 is the best team i've seen in the PL era, even better than this season's City team.

That Chelsea team were just an attacking ruthless juggernaut with speed power and steel.

They were a juggernaut built on defensive strength and solidity combined with midfield dominance.
An absolute machine of a team that ground down & crushed their opponents.

But entertaining in an attacking sense they were not. You seem to forget the reason for Mou's tenure coming to an end the first tie around. Namely Roman wanting his team to play open, expansive, entertaining football like Barcelona.
