Can be hard to judge these things from clips but you can rely on the judgement of the pros themselves, the players on the pitch were dumbfounded, the ex pros watching immediately saw a wonder save and Pickford himself said it was his best, in a crowded field of great saves he’s made down the years.

Randos on twitter might say it was a good height etc but the people who know the game all concur it was world class. The strike itself was incredible and if it goes in I think it gets described by a lot of pundits as unstoppable….but JP stopped it.

Best way to know it was one of the saves of the season is because if it had gone in, it probably would be the goal of the season as things stand.

100% up there with the best. Allegedly Alison was the best I’d take Pickford over him. And nothing to do with him playing for Liverpool don’t think he’s as consistent as Pickford. Just asked the question on google and a report mentions Courtois, Donnarumma, as the best then mentions for Raya, Martinez, Alisson id have him over the latter 3
I think Raya is as good if not better than pickford but he does play behind the best defence and arguably team in the country. Donnarumma is definately up there.

He’s world class at some aspects of keeping but not at others. Still awful at commanding his area and his kicking is overrated but shot stopping, 1v1’s and penalties he’s top tier.
Most top keepers have some flaw.

Jordan has his, but the overall package is definitely top 10 in the world, perhaps higher. And for a club that would struggle to be top 50 in the world right now, that's more than we are entitled to. Thank God he is happy with his lot. Had he been "ambitious", he wouldn't have darkened our door.
