One fella trying to say our best player should leave followed by another saying hes actually crap and no team should go for him. The latter does my head in more.
Says hes just a good shot stopper, cant do anything else then states the one weakness in his game, which is very average in comparison to the general landscape of modern keeping. A Courtois type who comes for everything is a unicorn nowadays.
Pickford is a top 10 keeper in the world. You can say thats because the level of modern goalkeepers is lower than a few years ago and I would agree for the most part. But he is still our best player and it annoys me that people like this go after him and not... well pretty much anyone else in the squad.
Its the same type of person who didnt like Lukaku because of his first touch while he banged in 27 league goals in a season. Picking at the weaknesses and ignoring the overall positives.
I think takes more than one season for sides to gain a status large enough to take players from bigger sides. He won't be going to Sunderland this summer

Should have won for the Sheff Utd save a few years ago as well. But sure it was the Bournemouth keeper won it that year for a save nowhere near as good
Best shot stopper in the game. The fact I heard we won save of the season and then had to look up which save it was for out of his 5 or so candidates says it all.
I actually think the save against United was even better than the Tonali one, I was sure that header was going in.
And yeah I’m sure he’d like to play for Sunderland in Europe but they can’t afford him and they need to strengthen a lot more elsewhere before they would even think about it.
