Shouldn't be overlooked for blame in their 2nd goal today.
It was all poor in the lead up to it but not for the first time a ball is in the air on our 6yd line ( for a long time ) and he fails to deal with it.
Waiting , then trying to make the save then it's too late.
He should have cleaned it all out , ball and players.

Still a top keeper but this has always been a big flaw to his game.

Just watched it a couple of times and he should have done much better.

If another club make a good offer for him = sell - Virginia controls his area better than him......
 
What was the difference between beto’s header in the first half (not the goal) the one before that and hirst’s header that he scored?

Simple it’s the goalkeepers positioning

Pickfords positioning was awful, you should anticipate that hirst wins the header and you cover that near post and save it. It’s exactly what the Ipswich keeper did for beto’s header.
