Jordan Peterson Thread.

You used abelards clear jest at Peterson's obsession with being seen to be eating a 'manly' diet, as an accusation of him seriously wishing to see others suffer. You backed this up with the trite accusation that any critique of a public figure is no more than jealously. There are plenty of legimate critiques to make of a man espousing opinion to the easily influenced on subjects he isn't qualified to and clearly has little understanding in. He backs this up by sharing a stage with some truly awful people, and by proxy promotes them.

You have been called out on your cheap nonsense, and have tried to sidestep and pretend your post was a much more cerebral argument than first appeared. Your usual modus operandi, but I grow bored of your predictability now and look forward to your next hiatus, good day sir

haha did you see yourself drop a mic there?

i was tagged in, i said what i thought...the game's the game.

Gong to be a wonderful portal for soaring rhetoric, insightful vision and high quality debate I am sure...
Jordan Peterson, the controversial academic, has launched a new anti-censorship website that will only take down offensive content if specifically ordered to by a US court.

The psychology professor from Toronto said that Carl Benjamin, the failed Ukip MEP candidate who speculated about raping the Labour MP Jess Phillips, had agreed to test the subscription-only site, named Thinkspot.

Peterson has a cult following among rightwingers for controversial views about identity politics and has become a hate figure for many on the left. Earlier this year the University of Cambridge rescinded an offer of visiting fellowship to Peterson after backlash from staff and students.

Peterson said he hoped the site would be a censorship-free alternative to Patreon, an online membership service that at one stage made the Canadian $80,000 per month. He said: “It’ll be a subscription service. And so that’s partly what makes it a replacement for Patreon to some degree, because we want to be able to monetise creators.”

The terms of service for the new site take an extreme position on free speech. Peterson said: “Once you’re on our platform, we won’t take you down, unless we’re ordered to by a US court of law. That’s basically the idea. So we’re trying to make an anti-censorship platform.” Peterson, who describes himself as a “professor against political correctness” said that Benjamin, who blogs under the name Sargon of Akkad, was one of a handful of controversial figures who had been invited to test the initiative.

He said: “I think we’ve got four, five or six people who are lined up. [Dave] Rubin is going to use it. I’m going to use it, James Altucher, Jocko Willink, Michael Shermer, oh and Carl Benjamin, Sargon of Akkad. They’ll be our first beta testers fundamentally.”

This new brigade of 'free speech' warrior's are absolutely the most tiresome and insincere group of people. The latest of his grifts, nothing more than that.

More free-money for Peterson as opposed to free-speech

Few reports saying he's in a medically induced coma in Russia due to an addiction to Benzo's which has left him unable to walk or talk properly.

Sounds more like a stroke ?

Those symptoms do sound like a stroke but from reading more he apparently went to Russia on the advice of his daughter (who is a bit of a mentalist) as they are the only country which will happily put you in a coma to try and force you off drugs so you don't have to go through the long withdrawal process, problem is its generally viewed as bollocks and very risky hence why no hospitals in the west will do it.

Im just repeating what i've read though, i could be wrong.

From what I`ve read, there are private clinics here that will put the likes of smack heads into a chemically induced coma to see them through the withdrawals.

It`s hellishly expensive though, as it`s very labour intensive - round the clock.
